In November 2023, the prestigious International Opera Awards will be presented again! These 'Oscars' of the opera world reward the best and most innovative performances of the past season on international stages. After having won several of the trophies in past editions with The Time of Our Singing (Best World Premiere), The Tale of Tsar Saltan and From the House of the Dead (both Best New Production), La Monnaie could be up for the awards again this year. But for that, we need your help! Until 1 September, you can nominate your favourite production, opera house, singer or conductor via this link.
Does our spectacular double evening Bastarda, directed by Olivier Fredj, deserve an accolade in the categories 'New production' and 'Recording (Complete Opera)'?
