THE BEST CHAMBER MUSIC HAS TO OFFER, EVERY FRIDAY AFTERNOON AT LA MONNAIE

Autumn is the sound of… chamber music, and so this month sees the return of our Concertini! Every week the doors of the Grand Foyer swing open and the music played inside enchants the Place de la Monnaie.

On October 7th konzertmeisterin Sylvia Huang will perform the first concert with her new colleagues from the orchestra – on the music stands Mozart and Strauss! Violinist Femke Sonnen will treat us to a programme devoted to five female composers, including Mel Bonis and Amy Beach, whose music has – quite rightly – received more attention in recent years. Then the Low Brass of La Monnaie ensemble will explore the Russian repertoire. Allow yourself a musical lunchtime break at 12.30 hrs on Friday!
