Concertino
The la Monnaie concertini
Offering: an exploration of – and counterpoint to – our main programme. Offering: musicians of La Monnaie Symphony Orchestra performing challenging programmes in small ensembles. Offering: close contact with the music and the performers. After two seasons of enthralling peregrinations, the Grand Foyer will once again be the permanent home for chamber music. In the autumn, the focus will be on the French-Belgian theme in the programme, including such composers as Philippe Boesmans, Pierre Bartholomée and Francis Poulenc. Among other things, January to June will see a thorough exploration of the Hungarian-German repertoire.
Programme
