Your registration will be accepted only if your file is fully completed: online application form + CV + motivation letter. Incomplete files will be rejected.

We reserve the right to select candidates for the first round on the basis of their applications.

• First round : 17.11.2026
  • ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Puccini, "la Bohème", from the beginning to Benoît's entrance (“Una parola “), to play and sing
  • Strauss, "Rosenkavalier" from the beginning to Marschallin's entrance (number 12), to play with a conductor
• Second round: 18.11.2026
  • ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Puccini, "Turandot" from the beginning to number 9 ("mi hai sorriso"), play and sing 
  • Berg, "Wozzeck, Act I scene 1, from beginning to bar 136 ("wir arme Leut"), play and sing 
  • Strauss, "Salome", Salome's dance (until Herod’s entrance “ah! Herrlich!”), to play with a conductor 
  • Sight reading
  • Short coaching of a singer (the piece will be communicated one week before the audition)

The audition will take place at La Monnaie, Leopoldstraat 23 in 1000 Brussels / 6th floor.

The audition starts at 10 am, everybody must be present at 9.30 am. If you have registered and you will not be able to come, please let us know before the audition takes place. If you don’t inform us, we reserve the right to refuse your participation at any future audition.

• Salary: gross/month: min 3.886,92 € – max 4.917,03 € (in function of the relevant experience) + 4% rights + meal vouchers + group insurance.
• La Monnaie does not pay for travel and accommodation expenses, even when the audition has been rescheduled or cancelled.
