Book presentation José Van Dam
exclusively for Opera Makers

On 17 February 2026, we had to say farewell to a monument of the opera world: José Van Dam. Shortly before, he had given his blessing to a book in which he looks back on the deep bond he shared with many of the characters he portrayed. "We only exist through what we do," he once said. On 1 October, the book José Van Dam – Confidences pour confidences will be officially presented to press and guests. As an Opera Maker, you can attend free of charge.
