On the occasion of the concert performances of Parsifal, La Monnaie invites you to an exceptional guided tour on the works of the Belgian symbolist painter Emile Fabry (1865-1966), which adorn the Honorific Staircase of our Theatre.
Thanks to the research work of Jacqueline Guisset, author of several publications on this subject, you will plunge into the eventful history of the commissioning of these paintings, while deciphering the themes incorporated by the artist: the thought of ancient Greece, Nietzschean philosophy and, of course, a tribute to Richard Wagner...
