BRAVO! Ticket

Travelling to La Monnaie by train at half price.

Thanks to the BRAVO! ticket, you can travel by train to any La Monnaie performance with 50% discount. Each of our tickets now includes an SNCB/NMBS discount code which allows you to book, as from 31 days before your performance, a return journey (2nd class) to Brussels Central Station from any Belgian station. You can travel back until the day after the performance. With this initiative, as part of Green Opera, we want to encourage our audience to use soft mobility.

How can I buy my Bravo! Ticket?

You can buy the Bravo! Ticket on this page, as from 31 days before your opera performance or concert. Attention: the date of the return journey must be identical to the date of the outward journey (being the date of the performance), although it is permitted to travel back the day after.

The only thing you then need, is the SNCB/NMBS code which can be found on your La Monnaie ticket. This code starts with a zero, the capital letter i and the letters BR.

You can print the Bravo! Ticket or save the PDF on your smartphone.

Conditions

Bravo! Tickets are nominative, so they cannot be passed on or sold and you must be able to present your (photo) ID upon ticket control on the train. 

Bravo! Tickets cannot be exchanged or cancelled. Only in exceptional circumstances, such as postponement or cancellation of a concert, a Bravo! Ticket could possibly be refunded.

I'm travelling from abroad, can I also buy a Bravo! Ticket La Monnaie?

Yes, you can combine a Bravo! Ticket with a (return) transport ticket that is valid on the foreign railway network until the Belgian border. From there the Bravo! Ticket is valid to Brussels-Central station.

When buying your Bravo! Ticket, enter one of the following first Belgian stations as your departure station:

  • coming from The Netherlands: Essen (via Roosendaal), Noorderkempen (via Breda) or Visé (via Maastricht – Eijsden)
  • coming from Germany: Hergenrath
  • coming from the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg: Arlon, Athus or Gouvy
  • coming from France: Mouscron, Froyennes, Quiévrain, Quévy or Erquelinnes

When you buy a Bravo! Ticket with Brussels Airport - Zaventem as departure station, the Brussels Airport Supplement for your return journey will automatically be added to the price of your Bravo! Ticket. Attention: If you return the day after your concert, you need to buy a Brussels Airport Supplement for this homeward journey. The Brussels Airport Supplement of the homeward journey that initially and automatically was added to the price of your Bravo! Ticket, cannot be refunded.

What to do in the event of a problem with the SNCB code?
 
  • My code does not work
    First check whether you have copied the SNCB/NMBS code correctly. The code always starts with a zero, the capital letter i and the letters BR. Each code will only work once. Check whether the code has been used before. Still no success in ordering a Bravo! Ticket after checking all of the above?   • I have made a mistake in my order and bought a wrong ticket.
    Bravo! Tickets cannot be exchanged, cancelled or refunded. Please use a different train ticket to travel to La Monnaie.
