LaMonnaie/DeMunt  is calling for a male dancer (M, X) for the production of ‘La Cenerentola’, an opera staged by Daniel Kramer and choreographed by Xenia Wiest.

The artistic team is looking for candidates of all ethnicities and cultural backgrounds. Diversity and inclusivity are central values in their work. The team is looking for team players who bring individuality, openness, and creativity to the process.

Wanted profile:  
  • strong classical background   (pointe work is a plus. )
  • excellent partnering skills
  •  2+ years of professional experience.
  • individuality, openness, and creativity throughout the process.
  • Fabulous movement quality
Good to know:  
  • On February 6th 2026 during the day, a casting will take place at DeMunt/LaMonnaie for pre-selected candidates.   
  • The production period:    
    • rehearsal period will take place from 12 November 2026 to 15 December 2026 at DeMunt/LaMonnaie:  
      • From November 12th to November 26th, 2026 (10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday to Sunday inclusive).  
      • Then, from November 27th to December 15th 2026 (2pm-10pm, Tuesday to Saturday - except Sunday 10am-6pm)        
    • 11 performances at the La Monnaie Theatre in Brussels:
      • On 15, 16, 17, 22, 23, 29 & 30 December 2026 at 7.30 p.m.,
      • 19, 20 & 27 December 2026 at 3pm and 31 December '26 at 17h 
  • Dancers must have an availability during this rehearsal period. 
  • Suitable candidates should preferably reside in Brussels or the surrounding area.

Send us your artistic résumé mentioning your length, together with two clear and recent photos (a headshot and a full-length) and a short video (2 minutes max.) in which you reflect who you are as a dancer as your introduction to the artistic team.
