2 boys who appear to be 10 years

DeMunt/LaMonnaie is looking for 2 boys who appear to be 10 years old for the production Tosca, an opera directed by Rafael R. Villalobos.

 Profile: 

• A child who is comfortable in front of an audience.
• Preferably: with some stage experience
  (Shy children are not suitable candidates)
• Natural enthusiasm for acting
• Have a talent for dancing
• Apparent age: approximately 10 years old

Note: The two children will take turns performing during the shows.

Good to know:

• On the evening of 11 February 2026, a casting will take place at the Théâtre de la Monnaie for pre-selected candidates.
  • Rehearsals are possible on:
    • 09, 10, 13, 16, 17, 20, 23, 24, 27 mai 2026 between 10 and 18h .
    • 30, 31 mai, 03, 06, 09, 10, 11, 12, 13 en 16 juni 2026 between 10 and 18h, some days between 19h and 22h
      A detailed planning will be provided.
  • Performances at the Théâtre de la Monnaie:
    • 17, 18, 20, 21, 24, 25, 27, 28 and 30 june & 01 july 2026 at 20h,  
    • 23 june 2026 at 18u.
• Children must be available for rehearsals and performance.
• Candidates should live in Brussels or the nearby.

>>> N.B.: the child will be accompanied by a chaperone during rehearsals and performances.

Please send us at least two recent and clear photos (headshot and full-length) together with a short video of the child presenting himself to the artistic team.
