Young men aged 18 - 20

La Monnaie is looking for  young men aged 18 - 20 for the ‘Tosca’ production, an opera directed by Rafael R. Villalobos..

 Role / Profile: 

• Role of mischievous chorister.
• Apparent age of a teenager
• Stage experience desirable, natural enthusiasm for acting.
• Comfortable with total nudity on stage in front of an audience. (*)

*You may rehearse in clothing in which you feel comfortable. For the three dress rehearsals and performances, you will perform fully nude on stage.

Good to know:

• On the evening of 11 February 2026, a casting will take place at the Théâtre de la Monnaie for pre-selected candidates.
  • Rehearsals will occur:
    • From 7 to 29 May 2026 (rehearsals possible between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.) 
    • From 30 May to 16 June 2026 (rehearsals possible between 2 p.m. and 10 p.m.)
  • Performances at the Théâtre de la Monnaie:
    • 17, 18, 20, 24, 25, 30 June and 1 July 2026 at 8 p.m., 
    • 23 June 2026 at 6 p.m.
    • 21, 27 and 28 June 2026 at 8 p.m.
• Candidates must be available for all rehearsals and every performance.
• Candidates should preferably live in Brussels or the nearby.
