Sitting In A Room, La Monnaie, Needcompany and Ars Musica are looking for research participants between the age of 14 and 18 for a new project by Sarah Defrise, Stephane Ginsburgh and Emily Hehl.
We will organize a research workshop hosted in Needcompany and La Monnaie where participants will work around themes connected to the notion of hysteria, madness and losing control in literature and opera repertoire.
The themes will be explored through improvisations of music, acting, movement, singing and writing, where participants will work closely together with professional musicians, singers and artists.
The workshop will take place between August 17th and 22th from 10.00 to 17.00 and is free of charge.
We will provide lunch every day, and a nice dinner on the last day to celebrate.
