CloseIn the wake of Sheherazade and Beethoven for Kids, Music Director Alain Altinoglu once more mounts the podium to share his passion and ‘tell’ music to young people. As enthusiastic as ever, he will once more deploy all the registers of the orchestra, as he opens his book of fairy tales at Richard Strauss’s musical interpretation of the story, at once mischievous and sad, of Tijl Uilenspiegel, who paid for his satirical bent and unbridled longing for freedom with his life.
