Generations of children have been captivated by the sound of her crystal-clear voice in such songs as ‘Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious’, ‘Edelweiss’, ‘A Spoonful of Sugar’ and ‘Do-Re-Mi’, among many others.  

The fascination Andrews has exerted across generations fuelled the imagination of mezzo-soprano Lea Desandre and conductor Thomas Dunford, who decided to pay tribute to this golden age of musicals in concert. In Chasing Rainbows, they will perform the most memorable songs by Leonard Bernstein, Robert & Richard Sherman, Henry Mancini, Richard Rodgers & Oscar Hammerstein, Noël Coward and others. A spoonful of tenderness, poetry and nostalgia that will undoubtedly ‘help the medicine go down’.
