Discover the Power of Singing Together

A Circle Song is a unique singing experience in which every participant contributes their voice, ideas, and creativity to compose vibrant and spontaneous music together. In the Fiocco Room of La Monnaie, you will gather in a circle with other participants to explore singing both in group and solo, bringing new sounds to life.

After a body and vocal warm-up, Amandine Nkeshimana – opera singer, pianist, and improviser – will guide you through rhythmic and vocal exercises. Together, you will create new songs inspired by the librettos of La Monnaie’s 2025–26 opera season.

No prior musical knowledge is required – just an eagerness to move, experiment, and enjoy your own voice as well as the voices of others.

Amandine Nkeshimanais a singer, pianist, improviser, and performer with an unconventional career path. She studied piano (Master) at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels and lyrical singing (DNOP) at the CRR in Lille. She also trained in theatre, tango, choir conducting, improvised music, and circle songs. Her passion? Creating surprising, transversal, and multidisciplinary projects.
