Few musicians are as accomplished ambassadors of German Lied as Christoph Prégardien, a tenor who is also renowned for his interpretations of Mozart and Baroque operas. His singular voice has been immortalised on more than 120 recordings and his performances of Brahms, Schumann and Schubert garnered him numerous prestigious prizes, including the Orphée d'Or from the Académie du Disque Lyrique, the Edison Award and the German Kritikerpreis. In the run-up to his recital Memories at La Monnaie, he will share his in-depth knowledge of this repertoire with the young singers of the MM Academy during a public masterclass.
