How do you make a cult classic your very own? How do you shape your voice to deliver the best possible version? Alain Altinoglu, this year’s Best Opera Conductor according to the International Opera Awards, invites you to a fascinating masterclass centered on opera performance. Throughout two sessions with the La Monnaie Symphony Orchestra, he will guide the singers of the MM Academy through both celebrated arias and rare gems from the opera repertoire.

These great voices of tomorrow will work on and perform ‘Che gelida manina’ from La bohème (Puccini), ‘Mein Sehnen, mein Wähnen’ from Die tote Stadt (Korngold), ‘Les oiseaux dans la charmille’ from Les Contes d'Hoffmann (Offenbach) and ‘Rivolgete a lui lo sguardo’ from Così fan tutte (Mozart) and many more in the red and gold of our Main Hall!
