Discover the great voices of tomorrow

In 2027 the Queen Elisabeth Competition, one of the world’s most prestigious music competitions, will once again be dedicated to the voice. From 9 May to 2 June, an international jury composed of opera professionals will gather in Brussels to seek out the stars of tomorrow.

As is fitting, Alain Altinoglu and the La Monnaie Symphony Orchestra will accompany the twelve candidates selected for the final. This enormous challenge requires mastering an extremely varied repertoire in record time and it always takes place in a highly charged atmosphere. The excitement at La Monnaie will be all the more intense for this edition, as several of our MM Soloists and MM Laureates will be taking part in the competition.
