On 8 May, our MM Academy singers will perform at the annual concert of be.Source, a private foundation in support of vulnerable senior citizens.
This Sunday, the be.Source foundation – principal partner of our social programme 'A bridge between two worlds' and member of La Monnaie's Corporate Club – is organising its annual spring concert at 15.30 in the Church of our Lady of Sablon. They are calling upon soloists Emma Posman and Raphaële Green of our MM Academy, who will be accompanied by a string quartet from the La Monnaie Chamber Music Ensemble. Together, our musicians wil perform Schubert’s Salve Regina, a Divertimento by Mozart, Il tramonto by Respighi and much more...
All proceeds from this concert will go to the foundation.

As part of the worldwide Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the façade of La Monnaie was lit up in pink on Sunday, 19 October. Through this symbolic gesture, our house aims to highlight what is still insufficiently known about the disease.
La Monnaie to create an opera by J. M. Coetzee, 2003 winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature
During a literary encounter with J. M. Coetzee on the stage of La Monnaie, Christina Scheppelmann announced that the 2003 Nobel Prize winner in Literature is writing a libretto for a new La Monnaie opera, to be premiered in the 2027–2028 season: Elizabeth Costello in limbo.
