On 8 May, our MM Academy singers will perform at the annual concert of be.Source, a private foundation in support of vulnerable senior citizens.
This Sunday, the be.Source foundation – principal partner of our social programme 'A bridge between two worlds' and member of La Monnaie's Corporate Club – is organising its annual spring concert at 15.30 in the Church of our Lady of Sablon. They are calling upon soloists Emma Posman and Raphaële Green of our MM Academy, who will be accompanied by a string quartet from the La Monnaie Chamber Music Ensemble. Together, our musicians wil perform Schubert’s Salve Regina, a Divertimento by Mozart, Il tramonto by Respighi and much more...
All proceeds from this concert will go to the foundation.
From 3 June to 22 September, La Monnaie and Muntpunt are transforming Rue Royale—the small street between their buildings—into a vibrant summer spot. A long table will serve as a welcoming meeting place where locals and passers-by can read, have lunch, play board games, or simply soak up the sun.
A real feast for the eyes and ears in 2023, La Monnaie’s production of Tchaikovsky’s most intimate and celebrated opera, directed by Laurent Pelly and conducted by Alain Altinoglu, is now available on DVD, Blu-ray and streaming via Naxos.
