Emmanuel Trenque made Chevalier de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres

On 12 December, at the Résidence de France, François Sénémaud, the French ambassador to Belgium, presented the insignia of Chevalier de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres to Emmanuel Trenque, in the presence of his family and friends, the mayor of Woluwe-Saint-Lambert, and the artists and staff of La Monnaie.

Recently appointed Artistic Director of the La Monnaie Chorus, Emmanuel Trenque held a similar position at the Opéra de Tours and the Opéra de Marseille, where he contributed to the vocal metamorphosis of the choirs.
