On December 14th at 3 p.m., two singers from the MM Academy and the Cassandra Choir will take part in the annual charity Christmas concert organised by the be.Source Foundation at the Sablon.
For more than 15 years, the be.Source Foundation has organised its Concert des Cœurs (Concert of Hearts) in the run-up to the holiday season, with the proceeds going to social projects supporting isolated or vulnerable elderly people.
On Sunday, December 14th 2025, the concert will be held in the Church of Our Lady of the Sablon. Two MM Laureates, Marion Bauwens and Marie-Juliette Ghazarian, will perform a selection of traditional Christmas carols, accompanied by the Cassandra Choir led by Laurence Renson. All proceeds from the concert will be donated to social projects supported by the Foundation.
On 29 July and 1 August 2026, the world’s most prestigious opera festival will welcome the La Monnaie Symphony Orchestra and its Music Director Alain Altinoglu for two concert performances of Massenet’s Werther.
La Monnaie Chorus Master Emmanuel Trenque has been awarded the Médaille du Rayonnement Culturel by La Renaissance Française.
Last night, the International Opera Awards were held at the Greek National Opera. Music director Alain Altinoglu won the award for Best Conductor.
