CloseSince it was premiered in 2001, Rain has become one of the key works in Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker’s repertoire. For an hour and ten minutes, ten dancers fill the stage with an exuberant succession of virtuoso dance phrases. With the pulsating tones of Steve Reich’s minimalist Music for 18 Musicians, the spellbinding ebb and flow of choreographic constellations, and the collective energy of the dancers, Rain is one of the most charismatic works in contemporary dance.
This production is part of Troika Dance, our joint dance programme with KVS and the Théâtre National Wallonie-Bruxelles.
