Enjoy a free dance class set to the music of Beyoncé, Prince, Lily Allen, and Hamsa El Din.

As part of the Brussels Dance Festival, La Monnaie invites you to (re)discover your dancing skills during a workshop in one of the rehearsal studios at La Monnaie, where you'll learn four short choreographies by Wim Vandekeybus, Alexander Stavropoulos, Loïc Touzé and Matthieu Bajolet.

Whether you’re already a pro on the dance floor or taking your very first dance steps, we’ll welcome you with open arms in a supportive and relaxed atmosphere. And afterwards, you'll be ready to join many others on the dance floor at Place de la Monnaie during the Bal Moderne on 23 August.

The dance workshops will be led by Frauke Mariën, Matthieu Bajolet, Julian Gypens and Oonagh Duckworth

Air Balloon (Lily Allen)

Kiss (Prince)
