But the hard work has paid off… On Wednesday April 28, we are able to present our programme for the entire 2021-22 season: with no less than 12 operas, celebrations for the 250th birthday of the La Monnaie Symphony Orchestra topped off with a whole lot of ambitious dance performances and intimate recitals. A real feast for the eyes and ears in 2023, La Monnaie’s production of Tchaikovsky’s most intimate and celebrated opera, directed by Laurent Pelly and conducted by Alain Altinoglu, is now available on DVD, Blu-ray and streaming via Naxos.
From March 28 to 30, the tenth edition of the Passa Porta Festival will take place, dedicated entirely to the theme of ‘Ghosts’. This year, numerous events will also be held at La Monnaie, ranging from encounters with leading authors to literary tours.
