After its immense success online, Jean-Luc Fafchamps world creation Is this the end? will be screened at Cinéma Galeries on Thursday September 24 at 19h30.
The two performances of Is this the end? on the 12th and 13th of September were an overwhelming success. With more than 1500 people watching the streams and all press reviews in full agreement on the inventiveness of the score.
Following its success on the small screen, the pop-opera will receive a big screen premiere as well. This screening will take place on Thursday, September 24 at 19h30 in Cinéma Galeries. Next year, the non-profit association 'Mortier Awards' will present the Mortier Next Generation Award, for the fifth time. This prize, worth € 30,000, supports artistic projects of young artists in keeping with the spirit of Gerard Mortier, former La Monnaie director and great innovator of the art form opera.
This summer, for the Barcelona premiere of the opera Bovary, the La Monnaie Chorus will perform on the stage of the Teatre Nacional de Catalunya.
