La Monnaie turns orange to support the fight against violence against women.
On November 25th, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, La Monnaie shows its commitment to this cause by supporting the organisation Zonta.
Founded in 1919, Zonta is an inter-professional network with more than 20,000 members in 63 countries. This international, non-political, organisation brings together men and women in positions of responsibility in administration, commerce and industry. Together, they work for the empowerment of women and the access to education for girls.
To show its support, La Monnaie is lighting up its façade in orange, the colour chosen by the UN to symbolise the fight against gender-based violence.
